Dear Friends, I hope you all had a holiday!
I am writing to request your help. I have posted a petition online for which I am collecting signatures.
I would like to ask you to consider signing a petition for the Japanese government to ease its restrictions on importing life sustaining cystic fibrosis medications into Japan. My twin sister,Isa and I, were in Japan in Oct. 2009 for our book tour. At the time, we met several CF families there and witnessed their desperate situation. Currently, we are working with the Japanese Committee to Enable CF Treatment in Japan. They have asked Americans to help sign a petition urging their government to improve CF care in Japan.

Signatures are being collected up to Jan 15, 2010. After that, they will be presented to the Japanese government.
