I've noticed as I get older, that every fall/winter I find that my feet are always sweaty and therefore always cold...except when I'm under the covers and sleeping in my cocoon of pillows and comforters. Anyway, I can't seem to find a pair of socks or shoes, nor socks and slippers when I'm lounging around the house, that keeps my feet warm. I know poor circulation in the feet is a symptom of diabetes, which I have not (yet) been diagnosed with, but if that is the reason, would my feet be sweaty and clammy.
It's frustrating, because EVERY other part of my body can be warm, dry, and perfectly comfortable, but my feet are not. I've tried different styles and materials of socks, but nothing seems to work. I should add that I only notice this when I'm sitting in my office chair at work, in the car (without the floor heater vent on), and sitting on the couch watching TV or plinking on my laptop (right now). Commonality...sitting!
Any input on this would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Adam
