: Hey Sonia. Yes Cipro can cause some mild side effects like nausea, as well as headache, and mild diarrhea. Most antibiotics will interfere with most birth control pills. It is best to take extra precaution when taking antibiotics with the pill because the pills loses it's effectiveness. You may want to talk to your Pharmacist about this. Hope this helps!
