A decision I'm glad I never had to make. When I was pregnant with my first they couldn't screen. When I was pregnant with my second,the person I spoke to at the lab was sadly misinformed about the testing so althought they did do an amnio due to my age they didn't screen for CF. I had already decided not to terminate for CF. My CF doctor was furious with me. I understand that. He had to deal with the worst of the worst every day and see how hard it is. But so far I've done well, made it to 51 and could not justify an abortion when I had done so well. I was lucky both my kids are healthy CF free. I would understand any choice someone made.
