they're nothing. You get an IV, they tell you they're putting the Atavan (or whatever) in there and you wake up a while later and it's done. *shrug*. I react to the stuff they give me and sometimes wake up wacked out... Last time I woke up horrified that I had slugged a nurse during the procedure. I hadn't but I was convinced I had and felt terrible. They didn't laugh, but they probably did later.
