: Since I'm not a big book reader, game player or puzzle maker... I bring my laptop. Our hospital has free wifi with is nice. (This wasn't always the case!) I play on my computer, watch movies, regular TV and take naps. When I'm not doing those things I go for walks and then I also have 4 respiratory treatments a day, which consumes a large amount of time. Not to mention the IVs and bathroom trips. *sigh* I hate going in, but sometimes it cannot be avoided.

Hey Tara, yes I too hate going in. I must admit I have let therapies slide by the wayside and havent been too diligent in cleaning nebs etc which could have contributed. The hospital here is pretty ancient. Forget a single room all the CFers have to bunk in with four other (usually elderly) people with other lung diseases. They only give you up to three treatments but mostly only two and then you gotta do your other ones yourself. Anyways, convinced my Dr today after three days of inpatient therapies to go home on home IV the home care nurse will be dropping by tomorrow. So Im really happy that for the rest of my 12 days of treatment I will be at home ! Sonia
