one or the other of us often end up on the couch (very comfortable). Gail doesn't fall back to sleep easily, so when I wake myself up coughing, I go to the couch. If she wakes up first, often she'll go. We almost always start out in the same bed, but no telling where we'll be when we wake up. It works for us... sorta...
We got a very good bed (a sleep number) so that has helped somewhat with the tossing and turning. But I am on an anti-depressant which makes me dream vividly, so sometimes the tossing and turning includes yelling and kicking. No fun there...
