Fix for WinNuke Attacks

All TDL customers using Windows 95 should download this fix NOW if you have not already got it from Microsoft's web site. There is a program now widespread on the Internet that will crash your connection under Windows 95. By downloading the file here, and executing it, you can protect yourself from these attacks. Just follow these easy steps.

Download this file.
Disconnect from the Internet.
Go to My computer, and find where you downloaded the file, and double click it.
Follow the directions, and reboot the computer when you are done.

Now you should be protected from attacks by WinNuke.

Windows NT 4.0 users should install Service Pack 3. This is supposed to fix the problem under NT, and is available from Microsoft's web site. There is an additional fix there as well, since it seems Microsoft didn't fix it correctly the first time. There is also a fix for NT 3.51 there. Be sure to read the warnings before applying any hotfixes to a Windows NT installation.
