How not to  install a wood burning stove

The required clearances to combustibles is usually listed on a label attached to wood burning stoves. Stoves which do not have clearances listed should be installed with 48 inches clearance to unprotected surfaces and with 18 inches clearance to an approved fire rated surface. The stove should sit on a non-combustible hearth which extends at least 18 inches out from the stove in all directions.
