Schafer Park Parents and Teachers In the News!!!
Join Us!
We hope you will join us at our next Parent Club Meeting, February 11th at 6:30 pm. We have many things to inform you about and need your input.
Membership Drive Again!
We have had so many requests from parents and teachers wanting to join the PTC, that we are once again sending home membership letters and envelopes. Please look for these near the end of February. We want all whom wish to join to have the chance to join the PTC and show their support for the school and our children.
Kindergarten Survey:
Mrs. Elliot and Parent Spanish liaison, Mrs. Bates, are working hard to collaborate with the parents interested in Pre-Kindergarten Workshops. The PTC will support this event where needed, and we wish for the success of its targeted audience!
Up and coming:
The PTC is planning to have a Community Flea Market on April 3rd. We will rent spaces to family members, and teachers and invite the community. This is a great time to clean out your garage, house and closets. You can also sell those precious Arts n Crafts items you so enjoying making for family members. Please come to our next meeting, February 11th for further information. We need helpers and volunteers to make this event run smoothly. Your support would be greatly appreciated!
Assemblies:
The PTC and the Student Council are pleased to be in collaboration on two wonderful assemblies: Python Rons Exotic Pets, coming March 3rd and Professor Smarts, Fun With Physics, on April 8th. We hope your children will not only have fun, but also learn a bit about nature and science!
Student Council Information:
Stop by the front of the cafeteria after school and help support the Student Council. The SC is selling Valentine Grams.
Box Tops!!!
The time is drawing near to be the next Box Top winner! Please dont forget to keep saving these and dont forget to turn them in. Look at the bulletin board, just outside of the cafeteria to monitor your classrooms progress!
