Next Meeting - January 19th at 6:30 pm:
Don't forget to mark your calendars! We need parent feedback.  It is okay to come, listen and give your input.  We promise not to corral you into becoming board members! Several of our parents who have attended our meetings are now involved in learning more about how the school operates. They come and ask questions and get resources and information to help them help their kids. We encourage you to share ideas and get information on the events we have planned for the rest of the year.

Rainforest fund raising!  Mrs. Souto is holding a school-wide fundraiser to save the Rainforest! Informatin has been sent home, so please have your child participate and remember that $1.00 from each item sold will go to our Science Program.

Attendance Assembly: Congratulations to all our students who received the Perfect Attendance and Outstanding Attendance Dog Tags!  An assembly was held in their honor.  To see the smiles on their faces was exhilarating! Great Job, Schafer Park Students!!

Box Tops Rewards!  Thank you for sending in your Box Tops! Our school received a check for $216.70. This money will be used for computer supplies and software.  Keep up the good work.  We hope the next round of Box Tops due in March will render a little more.

New Sign: The sign is on its way!! Hooray!! We need 3 to 5 men available to help unload it upon delivery.  If you can help, please let the front office know, as we will only get 24 hours' notice from the company of its delivery time.  We don't know at this point if the School District will charge the parent club to install it.  We sure hope not. Here is a miniature picture of what you can look forward to by the end of this school year.  The sign has a four-foot skirt and is four by eight feet, two sided and lit.
