This directory contains the 4 slides in pdf format from Steve's 2003 Asia Crypt Rump Session talk presented Dec. 2, 2003 in Taipei Taiwan. The slides assume the reader will use the Leonid Levin, Feyerabend, and January 2003 Journal of the ACM references on the first slide for background. Also, I have changed my view of quantum physics since my May 2003 Eurocrypt talk (see slides from that talk on our web site). I have realized that the original quantum theory is a good theory for its intended application of describing atomic behavior. The problem is the connection to information theory and computational complexity theory starting in the last few decades of the 20th century. I now believe and am working on using Bohr interpretation of quantum physics to criticize the foundations of computational complexity.
