When I was a little boy, in the 1950's, I read my science fiction in bed and knew that if science were fruitful and the stars favorable, I would have the New York Public Library and the Library of Congress in a little box under my bed someday. Well, times have changed. It is a little box. But it is at the end of my couch, not under my bed. It is not just a book display/reader. It turns out to be a general purpose information tool. Its limits are more constrained by my (and your) knowledge, skills, and imagination than anything else.
